D-day delayed for ex-FMG boss Nev Power as son misses sentencing

The sentencing of a former head of the National COVID-19 Co-ordination Commission and his son for breaching WA’s Covid restrictions has been adjourned for four weeks.
Former FMG boss Neville Power, and son Nicholas, admitted the breach after flying into the state from Queensland in a private helicopter last October without an approved G2G pass.
The duo’s sentencing on Thursday had to be delayed because Nicholas Power was unable to be in court.
No reason was given but they are scheduled to return to court on March 23.
