Police have refused to speculate on the identity of human remains found near Nannup, despite the site being close to the last believed location of missing man Corey O’Connell.

Corey’s sister Haylee O’Connell talked to Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings this week, and shared the emotional struggle her and her family have gone through since his disappearance.

“You never actually think you will experience a loved one going missing,” she said.

“It’s just bittersweet, because now we can try and move on with our grieving process.”
