Cook and author Brendan Pang shares his tips on how to make the perfect stir-fry

Julie-Anne Sprague

Perth-based cook and author and former Masterchef contestant Brendan Pang popped in to the 6PR Studios today to reveal how the average cook could improve the taste of a simple stir-fry.

“It’s in the preparation – for me I’m always making sure I have things like aromats prepped in my kitchen so things that will give a lot of flavour at the beginning like garlic and ginger,” he told 6PR Afternoons host Julie-Anne Sprague.

The Perth cook and author will release his third cookbook in August – This book is about street food – which includes easy-to-follow recipes that bring the essence of the streets to your kitchen.
