Only a handful of Australians have reached the top of Earth’s highest mountain, and 6PR Breakfast show hosts Millsy and Karl spoke to one of these legends this Mount Everest Day.

Click PLAY to hear the remarkable achievement.

Zac Zaharias, owner of Peak Learning Adventures, conquered the 8,850-metre-high mountain on his third attempt, and he recalls the highs and lows of the achievement.
