Communications Minister Michelle Rowland is under fire after receiving $19,000 in donations from Sportsbet.

The donations were received on the eve of last year’s election when she was the shadow minister responsible for online betting.

Independent member for Curtin Kate Chaney told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live this is a serious “conflict of interest”. 

“The compliance requirements are wrong,” said Mr Chaney.
