Thousands of Australians affected from contaminated groundwater have settled a seven year class action lawsuit with the commonwealth. 

Bullsbrook resident Collin Butland told Oliver Peterson on 6PR Perth Live it’s been an emotional journey.

“Seven years I’ve been waiting for this and we had to take this to the stairs of the federal court of Australia,” Mr Collin said. 

 “So many of our community are still in this contamination.”
