Clive Palmer has enlisted Christian Porter as his lead lawyer in a landmark law case as he sues Australia for nearly $300 billion in damages over his iron ore project in the Pilbara.

6PR and Nine News reporter Michael Genovese told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live this is a “WA tornado”.

“They’re both trying to leverage the media attention around this to service their own needs,” said Mr Genovese.
