Extinction Rebellion protestors are planning to block roads in the Perth CBD today, in what organisers describe as a “non-violent civil disobedience against climate emergency”.

The protest will be held at Supreme Court Gardens and St Georges Terrace from 12.30pm.

Organisers are predicting “multiple arrests” will be made at the event.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
