Tom Gleeson is returning to Perth for two shows at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 8, promising to bring a sense of his maths teacher background to the stage.

Speaking to 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont, Gleeson explained that his comedy is inspired by his time teaching.

“When [contestants] mess up really obvious things I do really like to point it out at length and usually I string it out over the whole episode. I don’t minimise people’s failures, I try to maximise them, so when something goes wrong you can guarantee that it’s going to get its proper focus,” he said.
