A review is underway after 50 drones fell out of the sky during Sunday’s City of Lights event. 

Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas told 6PR Perth Live host Oliver Peterson the weather did not play a role in the drone’s malfunction.

“It was a touch disappointing,” said the Lord Mayor.

“It was not wind or weather that caused the malfunction last night.” He continued.
