Some of China’s biggest seafood importers have hinted at lifting the blacklisting of Australia’s lobster trade, with imports expected to begin as early as May.

Anthony Albanese has been applauded by Beijing for his ‘pragmatic approach,’ as China also lifted the coal ban last week, one of the first signs of easing political and trade tensions with Australia.

“You’ve got to take your hat off to Anthony and Albanese and Penny Wong, obviously doing a lot of work behind the scenes to smooth things over with the Chinese,” Millsy said on 6PR Breakfast.
