Chinese car sales up 2000 percent

It has been revealed Chinese manufactured car sales have increased by 2000 per cent in the past five years due to the rise in electric vehicle sales.

EV Central co-founder Toby Hagon told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live people shouldn’t be too worried about where their cars are manufactured.

“Of all the EVs sold in Australia 79 per cent of them came out of China,” said Mr Hagon.
