A Perth mother of three has spoken about hitting rock bottom, before beating addiction through a rehab program at Shalom House.

Chelsea joined Mark Gibson, host of The Catch-Up to speak about her transformation from being in the grips of addiction to cigarettes, alcohol and methamphetamine since the age of twelve.

The 23-year-old said that she didn’t blame anyone for the choices she made and that it was her decision to go through the process.

“I just felt disgusting, but it was so hard to get through without it, and that’s the sad part about addiction,” she explained.

“When I had all my kids, the first place I went when I left the hospital was my drug dealers house. That really makes me feel sick, but I’ve accepted that. I know I’m forgiven and I know I won’t do that again.”
