Changes to NAPLAN announced: What this means for schools and students

The government has announced new changes to how NAPLAN is reported and marked.

The changes aim to better identify children who are falling behind.

Director of Education Studies at the Centre For Independent Studies Glenn Fahey told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live students need to take part in NAPLAN.

“It is really counterproductive to not take part in NAPLAN,” said Mr Fahey.
