CCC investigating airlines suspected of withholding flights

There are concerns flights are being withheld to boost airline profits.
The Competition and Consumer Commission will be placing extra scrutiny on the aviation sector in a bid to increase flight availability.
Aviation Expert from Upstream Tim Collins told 6PR Afternoons host Jo McManus the commission is unlikely to be effective.
“It hasn’t really done very much,” said Mr Collins.

“As the interest starts to rise, the number of cheap seats will diminish and the fares will get more and more expensive.” He continued.
