The Australian Federal Police has launched an investigation into suspicious packages that were found on board a boat that capsized off the coast of Albany.

Three men were rescued as they were clinging to an esky in the middle of the Southern Ocean for two hours last Wednesday.

“All I know from my experience is it’s very tough to fish in those conditions Millsy and at the time I did ask the question where the boat had been launched – and there was no answer,” Karl said on 6PR Breakfast.
