The City of Canning Council has voted in support of displaying public alcohol and junk food advertisements despite the Cancer Council WA’s advocation to ban them.

Cancer Council WA cancer prevention & research director Melissa Ledger told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the council is prioritising profit.

“They are putting the communities health behind profit,” said Ms Ledger.
