David’s wife Marlene has now taken on the role of ambassador, along with her eight-year-old son Matise.

“Obviously, David had an amazing attitude towards cancer; he was very positive and had the will to fight,” Ms Infiri said.

“For him it was really important to share his story, to help people and to help and raise funds for Cancer Council.”
