The Consumer Policy Research Centre (CPRC) has released a report calling for change to Australia’s consumer law so opting out of subscriptions becomes just as easy as opting in.

CPRC deputy chief executive and digital policy director Chandni Gupta spoke to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl and said three in four Australians who have a subscription have had difficulty trying to cancel it.

“What we would really like to see is a law against unfair business practices,” Ms Gupta said.
