Calls for AFL to introduce better concussion management

The AFL is being called out for incentivising dangerous play, which is suggested to increase the risk of serious head trauma.
Australian director of the Concussion Legacy Foundation Professor Alan Pearce told 6PR Afternoons host Jo McManus there needs to be harsher penalties for those who injure their opponents.
“While we are looking after the players who are concussed, those who are actually injuring their opponents… are getting away with it,” said Professor Pearce.
