Professor Jaya Dantas, from Curtin University’s School of Population Health, is calling for more transparency from the WA Health Department over the COVID positive cases in hospitals.

WA has recorded 5005 new COVID-19 infections overnight, with 92 people in hospital and three in ICU.

Professor Dantas told Oliver Peterson on Perth LIVE, the public should be aware of factors such as the ages, genders and whether Covid patients were in hospital for other treatment when they are diagnosed.
