Rob Gherardi is the owner of a popular Margaret River winery, but he says issues with getting power to his property may bring him to financial ruin.

Mr Gherardi bought the property after leasing it from the previous owners and told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings he has faced months of of delays to necessary power upgrades for his subdivision, which was approved in December last year.

“The infrastructure is actually all here, we just need something which, at face value, seems ultra simple,” Mr Gherardi said.

“Since we started making a bit of noise it’s been four months, and we haven’t even got an initial assessment yet.”
