Press PLAY to hear tourism experts discuss alternative options in the Kimberley
Following the closure of the popular East Kimberley park, owned by Andrew “Twiggy” Forrest, 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont spoke to regional tourism operators to determine the alternative options available for tourists wishing to experience Purnululu National Park and the Bungle Bungles.
Scotty Connell, a Kimberley Spirit tour operator, described the appeal of the region:
“The Bungles are such a special spot, the Kimberley’s amazing in its entirety but the Bungles in particular is World Heritage-listed. It’s just absolutely sensational. Everyone’s got to experience it at one point, it’s just 10 out of 10,” he said.
