Patients have been moved out of the Mount Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit due to the discovery of black mold.

Two immuno-compromised patients have moved hospitals because the health risks are pronounced and major operations including cardiac surgery have been cancelled for a week.

Mount Hospital says the hospital is undergoing air quality testing, monitoring, and deep cleaning of the affected air ducts to remove the mold.
