Maine Police have named the man they believe to be behind the deaths of at least 22 people as 40-year-old retired military instructor Robert Card.

“Robert Card is a person of interest regarding the mass shooting at Schemengees Bar and Sparetime Recreation this evening,” a police spokesperson said.

“Card should be considered armed and dangerous.”
