A bushfire emergency warning is currently in place for parts of Whitby and Mundijong in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarradale.

Those bounded by South Western Highway to the east, Kiernan Road, Evelyn Street and Richardson Street to the south, Adams Street to the west and Reilly Road to the north are in danger and must act immediately to survive.

The bushfire is moving in a westerly direction and it is not contained or controlled.
