More than 80 business and community leaders braved the cold last night to raise some much-needed funds for Vinnies WA.

The 2023 CEO Sleepout was another success, despite – or rather maybe because of – the biting weather.

St Vinnies CEO Susan Rooney told Karl and Gena on 6PR Breakfastit was just a small example of what homeless people face every year.

“I’m OK after a very cold night, but I have a warm bed to go back to – that’s not an opportunity available unfortunately to the many vulnerable people living on our streets,” Ms Rooney said.
