Booze restrictions on the table as Carnarvon street violence continues

Racing and Gaming Minister Reece Whitby has revealed the Liquor Licensing Director has targeted pubs and liquor stores in Carnarvon after weeks of violence in the coastal town.
The Minister said the situation in Carnarvon is dire, and that the existing liquor accords were not stringent enough to prevent rampant alcohol abuse.
“The statistics in Carnarvon are staggering,” Mr Whitby said.
