Lifeblood PR & Media Manager Hannah Rayment told 6PR Long Lunch host Todd Johnston that many regular donors must postpone appointments due to illness during the winter months, resulting in an impact on blood stocks.

“When you do donate, it’s an hour of your time and you’re walking out knowing you could save up to three lives,” she said.
