The Australian Banking Association has acknowledged Australians are “under attack” from banking scams, triggering the development of better communication between the big banks.

ABA Chief Executive Anna Bligh told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings they were launching a new digital platform aimed at disrupting bank fraud scams.

“It can be a devastating experience,” Ms Bligh said.

“There’s no silver bullet but this will allow real-time communication between banks.”
