Western Australia has featured prominently in a new list of 100 Great Australian Road Trips in the latest edition of Australian Traveller Magazine.

Editorial director Leigh Ann Pow said it was relatively easy to get around on “all our lovely roads and they take you through such amazing scenery”.

“Everyone has a childhood memory of a road trip, you know getting shoved in the back of a car,” she told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.

“But I think during the pandemic, because we were limited by not be able to go out of Australia and out of our state, road trips just turned into the perfect way to go on holidays, again.”
