Twenty-two games under his belt, Tom McCarthy has hit a high, kicking his first career AFL goal, and his teammates embraced the popular half-back.

McCarthy told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl in the studio he credited his teammates for his performance, which Champion Data rated as the best of any game he has played.

“I think just due to the team finally clicking and playing well together and the backline playing well together, it allows me to get my game flowing consistently now, which is good”, he said.
