It’s RSPCA’s Guardian Angels Day, a vital fundraiser to support their year-round work.

Louise Rowe from RSPCA WA shared with Perth Today host Simon Beaumont just how costly it is to care for animals like Daffodil, a surrender who was hit by a car.

As Louise explained: “In addition to the cost of her general care, we paid for sterilisation, teeth extraction to help with a misalignment in her jaw, x-rays. She had a months-long physio program with an external specialist, medication, vaccinations, you can imagine how much that has all cost,” she said.
