Former Western Australian premier Colin Barnett praised the recent surge of One Nation, now Australia’s most popular political party in primary vote support.

On Politically Speaking, Barnett stated to 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett that Labor, Liberal, and One Nation would be the main players in the next federal election, a scenario he believes could result in a minority government and a more difficult Australia to manage.

When pressed on whether Pauline Hanson could be the next prime minister, he issued a strong warning.

“I might be biased, but I would hate to think that Pauline Hanson would be a prime minister of Australia. I think that would do immense damage to us internationally”, he said.
