Former WA Premier Colin Barnett has cautioned that if the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran is not quickly resolved, it could impact Australia worse than the global financial crisis.

He explained to 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett that Western Australia is especially vulnerable as an export state:

“We’re vulnerable also because in my view the stock market is overvalued, the housing market is overvalued, so when you’ve got assets that are in that situation they can suddenly fall,” he said.
