Bali is back open but what it’s really like?

Avid Bali traveller Michelle Brand, an administrator for the Bali Bogans Facebook page, told Gareth Parker from the holiday island the popular tourist spot was “coming alive every day”.

“The locals will tell you there’s no COVID. I have been hugging all the locals, I don’t wear a mask,” she told the 6PR Breakfast host.

“Up in Seminyak apparently they are a bit stricter on the rules but here in Legian, no masks.

“I was worried about getting COVID here, but not anymore. It is amazing, everyone just needs to get over here.

“The more people that come, the more that it will open up over here, so yep, get over here.”

Brand is in Bali for six weeks and also filming hotels for potential visitors who are keen to see what their accommodation would look like.
