Five motorcyclists have lost their lives on Western Australian roads since the start of the double-demerit point system on December 22.

Spokesperson for the Road Safety Commission, Charles Haynes, says the last five days have been terrible for our roads.

“We’ve put out a plea to … please be really cognizant, be really careful about how you’re driving and slow down,” he told 6PR Breakfast.
