Working holiday visas are being rushed through within 24 hours in a bid to increase the number of workers entering the country.

This comes after a call by the Tourism and Transport Forum (TTF) to increase the maximum working visa age from 35 to 50.

TTF CEO Margy Osmond told 6PR Afternoons the government is doing the right thing.

‘The government’s done some pretty terrific work in speeding up the visa process,” said Ms Osmond.
