She enamored fans across the country as a host on It’s a Knockout, and now she’s set to drive across the country to raise money for the disease that’s sadly taken her mobility.

Fiona McDonald is driving 15,000km around Australia in the hope of raising $100,000 towards research and trials for a cure for her terminal illness, Motor Neurone Disease.

So far she’s made it to Busselton, along with her sister Kylie Thynne.

“It was about three months ago when Kylie rang me and said, ‘I can’t sit on the couch and let this get me, let’s do something about it,'” Ms Thynne said.
