Australia Post wrongly delivered jewellery ordered by a Perth teenager from a Canadian seller and directed the teenager to resolve the issue with the seller despite the postal service’s error.

The teenager’s father Warren joined Oliver Peterson on Perth Live to reveal the details from the delivery mishap from Australia Post.

“They’ve said, wrong place, we’re deeming it as lost, too bad, so sad, go contact the original seller and get them to get their local poster to investigate it. So they want Post Canada to investigate what’s happened in Australia,” he said.

“I would suggest that they [Australia Post] need to compensate.”
