Would you eat meat and milk in a lab?

Australian scientists have made a major breakthrough in the space of ethical food production by creating lamb mince in a laboratory.

Magic Valley Research’s Andrew Laslett tells 6PR Breakfast it was done using a small sample of skin cells.

“We’re not making lamb chops yet, that might be five years down the track,” he told stand-in Breakfast hosts Lisa Barnes and Mark Gibson.
