Antarctica is often thought of by scientists as the world’s greatest library but, the truth is, we’ve hardly read any of its books.

Antarctic Science Foundation CEO Andrew Kelly said there were still so many secrets about Antarctica to uncover.

“Humans have been down there for a little over 100 years in terms of scientific investigation,” he told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings on World Ocean Day.

“It represents this amazing repository of information about the past, where we came from, biologically, what our history of our climate is.”
