New analysis shows there are more than 60 suburbs in Perth with no rentals available to prospective tenants.

Cath Hart, Chief Executive at Real Estate Institute of WA told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live that the extraordinary pressure in Perth’s rental market is no secret.

“We’ve seen rentals fall to 1,650 rentals available in our listings and the last time it was that low was 2010,” she told Oly.

“The best application doesn’t mean the fewest amount of people so it’s about the right tenants to the right people.”
