This year’s new iPhones have the biggest gulf yet between the standard and pro models as Apple saved its best new display, camera and processing technologies for the more expensive devices.

Mornings host Liam Bartlett spoke to Nine and Radio 6PR technology expert Trevor Long about the differences between the old and the new and the headline acts apart from the new smartphone.

“I’m super impressed with the iPhone 14 Pro … two features, one of them is video, kind of like a steady cam, it’s pretty amazing how it stabilises the video,” he said.

“And a feature that we don’t have in Australia yet, satellite emergency SOS.”
