ANZ has received a record-breaking $240 million fine from the corporate regulator, the largest ever imposed on any company.

Finance reporter Evan Lucas told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Mike that the penalty combines five separate misconduct cases and does not cover customer settlements for financial losses incurred due to these issues.

“It’s actually what they have done to get to that figure that I think is more concerning,” he said.
