WA Farmers and the agriculture industry are becoming nervous about the prospect of a fuel shortage, with Shadow Minister for Transport, Hon. Steve Martin, declaring it an emergency.

Martin told 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett that people in some regional towns are already rationing their fuel supply, adding:

“We do need to hear from the government about what fuel reserves they have, what is the plan to ease some of the tension that would be in every household and business in WA,” he said.
