Anthony Albanese criticised for relying on notes mid-press conference

The Opposition Leader has been caught being passed notes on Labor’s NDIS policy at his press conference.

Nine News political reporter Jonathan Kearsley can be heard asking Anthony Albanese to outline a six-point NDIS policy.

Midway through the exchange, Albanese can be seen receiving and leafing through a policy dossier.

The blunder follows Albanese’s early campaign trail stumble where he could not name the unemployment or cash rates, and a fiery exchange on the Today show with host Ally Langdon on Thursday about other ministers stepping in for him to answers questions at press conferences.

Swinging voter Montgomery also raised the issue with Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings, saying he thought it was not a good look for a person vying to be Prime Minister to rely on help to promote his party’s policies.
