Angus Brayshaw’s father reflects on his sons huge Grand Final

Mark Brayshaw, the father of Melbourne premiership player Angus Brayshaw, says the family “are on a high” after the Demons drought-breaking premiership win on Saturday.
Brayshaw played a big part in Melbourne’s grand final triumph, their first in 57 years, collecting 25 disposals and kicking a crucial goal after a courageous mark going back with the flight.
Mark said the game was “quite remarkable”.
“The thing I can’t get my head around was how close it was, and (Angus’s goal) put them in front by a point with not much time left in the third quarter,” he told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.
“And they ended up winning by 74 points, it’s extraordinary.
“It went from an arm wrestle to a walkover, I blinked and all of a sudden it happened, it was quite remarkable.”
