Concerns have been raised over the potential burial of key ambulance ramping data under a negotiated contract between St John Ambulance and the State Government.

As ambulance ramping enter a second year of record high figures, the Health Minister is yet to answer any direct questions about the matter.

Libby Mettam, Shadow Health Minister told Oliver Peterson onĀ Perth Live that Amber-Jade Sanderson could not answer her simple question.

“I just asked as part of the new contract whether St John will be prevented from criticising the government or from reporting the ambulance ramping figures, but the minister was unable to answer,” she told Oly.

“I made two attempts at this Oly, it’s a pretty simple yes or no question and it’s pretty disappointing.”
