Western Australia bikie groups are now setting-up in South-East Asia, according to the Australian Federal Police

Commander John Tanti told Gareth Parker relentless pressure from state and federal authorities is proving effective.

“Be it arrests, or be it taking cash, or being making life and their criminal operation so damned uncomfortable that it’s either not feasible, or it’s incapable of being conducted while they’re behind bars,” he said on 6PR Breakfast.

Commander Tanti said the exodus was “right across the board”, but they would continue to pursue the groups off-shore.

“All of these groups have a base off-shore, and that they’re using these off-shore bases to facilitate supply lines, in order to market their illicit commodity and profit of the misery that they trade in.”
